you will LOVE Mark Gerisch's custom creation on a real Ferrari chassis
with real Ferrari drivetrain. It is certainly HUGELY more expensive
than the Velo Rossa, but it is beautiful!

Atchison has a nice, new site devoted primarily to the 914-based,
Dino Replicas built by Barry Goldstein. Barry was an early player
in the 250 GTO replica biz. Clay's site includes some valuable history
and some great archived magazine articles.
Renucci builds an AWESOME 250 GT California Spyder (Ferris Bueller's
Day Off). It is in a class by itself, using a sophisticated tube
frame, and having very nicely detailed mechanical components:
